Initially, Zoom featured the ability to host conferences with up to 15 video participants. On January 25, 2013, the product was improved to allow up to 25 video participants for all meetings. Version 2.5 of the software further extended the offering allowing up to 100 video participants in one conference. The company has since expanded its offer to include meetings with up to 500 video participants. Zoom relies on client-side encryption using the Advanced Encryption Standard 256-bit (AES 256) algorithm for presentation content. As of October 2015, the lower limit of 25 participants in video meetings has been increased to 100. Between 2015 and mid-2016, Zoom Video Communications announced native support for Skype for Business and integration with Slack.

1. Purchase an Ethernet cable tester. There are many models you can purchase. Make sure it has a   battery in it and power it on. 2. Plug one end of the cable into the transmit jack. The transmit jack on the tester maybe be labeled "TX".   3.Plug the other end of the cable into the receiver jack.The receiver jack may be labeled "RX" on the device. Some testers have a detachable receiver you can use to test the cable across different rooms. 4 . Check the lights on the tester. Most testers will have 2 sets of 8 LED lights that correspond to the 8 pins on the transmitting and receiving end of the Ethernet cable. There will also be a G light for the ground.
